Forgotten Super Eagles star dubbed 'new Jay Jay Okocha' makes history in Belgium
Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke produced a dribbling masterclass to inspire Royal Antwerp's 3-0 thrashing of St Truiden on Sunday.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that the forgotten Super Eagles forward shone brightest to lead his champions to an impressive home win at the weekend.
Ejuke follows Okocha
Ejuke scored one goal and assisted another in a man-of-the-match display as the Belgian champions made it two straight league wins.
As highlighted by OptaJohan on Twitter, the 26-year-old completed 50 dribbles this season - more than any Antwerp player in a single campaign since their top-flight return in 2017.
"Chidera Ejuke (has) completed 50 dribbles this @ProLeagueBE campaign, more than any other @official_rafc player over a single Jupiler Pro League season since the club's return to the top-flight in 2017-18. Artistry," the stats account tweeted.
Ejuke's mazy runs and skills on the ball were too much for St Truiden to handle. He created three chances, made two key passes and completed 100% of his attempted dribbles.

The winger also showed there was more to his game than just making defenders beg for mercy as he won three interceptions and made six recoveries.
His resurgence comes after initially struggling to make an impact following his struggles at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin before his move last summer.
But the Super Eagles winger has now scored three goals and assisted three more in his last 12 league starts.
Ejuke opened his account for Antwerp in November and his upturn in form has coincided with the club's rise to fourth in the standings.

His dribbling masterclass on Sunday underlined why Ejuke could be crucial to Antwerp's title defence this season.
