'They have given me confidence' — Arteta dreams of leading Arsenal to historic season

Arsenal are enjoying a successful season, having advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup, the Champions League round of 16, and the Carabao Cup final, all while sitting at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners could win all four competitions, becoming the first ever English team to do so. When questioned about his belief in the squad's capacity to maintain this momentum, Arteta pointed to the daily efforts and resilience he witnesses from his players.

"They have given me the confidence," the manager stated. "What we've done up to now, every single day, and the biggest reassurance in every competition, is the manner we've done it.

"With all the challenges that we've faced already, that gives me confidence because it's the way we prepare."

He emphasized that his optimism is based on tangible evidence rather than speculation.

"I don't get the confidence for the things that I imagine, but for the things that I see every day and the preparation and how much the players want it.

" We are where we want to be, that's for sure."

Arteta also welcomed the challenge of juggling multiple tournaments, noting the positive impact it has on the team's mindset.

"It's great to be in every competition, it's great to change the mood from competition to competition and adapt to that in the manner that we are doing. So every competition is very welcome."

Despite Wolves' position at the bottom of the league table, Arteta is not underestimating the challenge at Molineux, recalling the dramatic late own goal that secured a victory in their last encounter.

"Understanding the difficulty of the match is always there in any game in the Premier League, but when you come to the last stages of the season, you know the importance of every win," he explained.
