They are just too strong — Sunday Oliseh reveals team to win Champions League
Former Super Eagles captain and manager Sunday Oliseh has backed Arsenal to claim the UEFA Champions League title this season, noting that the North London side look more formidable than ever.
Speaking on his program, Sunday Oliseh’s Global Football Insights, the legendary midfielder highlighted the tactical supremacy of Mikel Arteta and the Gunners' defensive stability.
“This Arsenal team is exceptional. They are very solid, they are strong, and that is one very clear reason why they are dominating the way they are dominating in the Champions League,” Oliseh remarked.

The statistics certainly support Oliseh’s claim. Arsenal cruised through the group stages with a perfect record, winning all eight matches, a feat no other club accomplished this season.
Their dominance was total, leading the tournament with 23 goals scored while maintaining the meanest defense, conceding only four times.
This defensive solidity, combined with the valuable experience gained in last year's run to the semis, fuels Oliseh's belief that the current squad is better equipped for a deep run than the one that competed last term.
“In fact, I think they have a better chance of winning the Champions League this year than they did last year,” he added.
Arteta's men are also top of the Premier League standings, with a four-point lead over Manchester City, and in the hunt for both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, chasing a historic quadruple.
They return to action against bottom club Wolves on Wednesday night, looking to open up a 7-point lead over Pep Guardiola's City, who host Newcastle this weekend.
