Super Eagles star bags Best Sports Philanthropist in Nigeria

There is news about the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Super Eagles are trending ahead of the upcoming 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

One of the players who won't be at the AFCON is defender Abdullahi Shehu.

Abdullahi was one of the players missing from the 40-man provisional list for the tournament.

He however is making strides off the football pitch.

In a series of photos on his official social media platforms, Abdullahi explained that he has received the Best Sports Philanthropist award in Nigeria.

Along with the photos was a message that said, "I feel honoured to receive the Pandora Award for Best Sports Philanthropist.

"This accolade recognizes my commitment and dedication towards improving the lives of the less privileged.

"This is a moment of great pride for me and I will like to thank the Pandora Award for finding me a worthy recipient."

Shehu Abdullahi is known for his philanthropic work which includes his school.
