Super agent reveals truth about Lewandowski's continuation at Barcelona amid Isak links
Robert Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, has admitted that there were no talks with Barcelona over a contract renewal for his client, amid rumours the Blaugrana are preparing a future without the Polish striker.
Lewandowski and Barcelona
Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 and has won two league titles in his three seasons at the club.
He has also maintained an incredible scoring rate at the club, with 100 goals for the Blaugrana in 156 appearances; he is one of an exclusive list of players to reach a century of goals for three different clubs (Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Barcelona).
However, he is now 37 and has been criticised for his lack of sharpness. Hence, there have been rumours that Barcelona were prepared to move on from him.
What Zahavi said
In a conversation with 365scores Arabic, Zahavi admitted that there were no conversations with Blaugrana over a contract renewal.
“Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2026, and there are no decisions regarding that at the moment,” he said, per MD.
“We have to wait and see what happens in the coming days. There is nothing official regarding negotiations with Saudi clubs. There are no offers at the moment.”
