Ruben Amorim calls up talented 15-year-old to training ahead of Crystal Palace clash
15-year-old prodigy JJ Gabriel has been called up to train with the Manchester United senior squad this week ahead of their game against Crystal Palace.
With the club out of European competition and having suffered an early Carabao Cup exit to Grimsby, Amorim is using the lighter schedule to evaluate the club's emerging talent.
Gabriel, who celebrated his 15th birthday in October, has been making waves within the club's youth setup.

Just 15-years-old… this kid is special 🤯#MUFC pic.twitter.com/dIdqEX8oaz
He has already featured for the Under-18s, and his performances have reportedly impressed key figures behind the scenes at Carrington.
"He has a lot of talent, but when they come here, they can sense that the speed is completely different, so they need to spend more time with us to be prepared because our training is hard. In the Premier League games, that pressure is harder, so they need to be ready."

Amorim also highlighted the importance of professionalism and the club's efforts to build a supportive structure for its young talents, including new initiatives like hiring a dedicated nutritionist for the academy.
"When you call a kid up to the first team, they need to behave really well," he added. "This connection is really important.
"We are putting everything in place... When we put these kids into play in the Premier League, they will struggle, but will struggle less, I think."
Manchester United will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the disappointing home defeat to Everton on Monday night.
