According to a report from Insider Gaming, the PlayStation 5 Pro console could arrive in late 2024, with plans of a PlayStation 6 being pushed until at least four years after the PS5 pro’s release.
It was previously reported that a new PlayStation 5 model with a detachable disc drive could release later this year, which seems to be a separate model to the rumored PS5 Pro.
Insiders have also claimed that this model will phase out the original PlayStation 5 to address the shipment and production issues that saw the fans complain about the PS5 scarcity in 2022.

However, since there is no official confirmation from Sony yet, fans should not totally bank on the reports making the rounds.
