Oscar backs Estevao to shine at Chelsea
Oscar insisted that fans should not judge the teenager's immediate impact, but rather focus on his development over a longer period.
“He’s good. He has the dribbling. He likes to score goals. He has a lot of talent. Need to give him time and give him time to adapt in Europe. It’s not easy to arrive there,” Oscar advised in a chat with another ex-Blue, Mikel Obi, on The Obi One podcast.
He remains confident in Estevao's potential, provided the expectations are realistic.
“I think he goes to one of the best teams in Europe, so let’s see what happens in these next two or three years.”
Estevao has had a decent start to life at Chelsea, and will be aiming to eep improving.
