The Trabzonspor forward has been prolific, leading the league's scoring charts with an impressive 21 goals.

In contrast, Osimhen has netted 12 league goals for Galatasaray in the 2025/26 season, cementing his reputation as a top-tier forward.

Tekelioğlu on Osimhen and Onuachu

Tekelioğlu believes that if Osimhen were to miss the match, it would be a significant advantage for Trabzonspor.

However, he feels Galatasaray would not gain a similar edge from Onuachu's potential absence.

"Osimhen's absence is a big advantage for Trabzonspor, but I can't say the same for Galatasaray regarding Onuachu's absence; they will fill that gap," Tekelioğlu stated, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

The former coach elaborated on the perceived difference in their importance to their respective teams, highlighting Osimhen's unique threat.

"I don't think Onuachu will affect Trabzonspor as much as Osimhen affected Galatasaray," he explained. "Galatasaray is much more important for Osimhen. There is no more dangerous player than Osimhen in Türkiye."

While Onuachu's numbers are superior, Tekelioğlu's analysis points to a difference in tactical dependency.

His remarks suggest that Galatasaray's attacking strategy is heavily built around Osimhen's dynamic play, whereas Trabzonspor possesses a more varied attack that is less reliant on a single player.
