Osimhen, widely considered Nigeria's most prominent footballer, has attracted a significant following from his home country to the Turkish club.
After a successful loan spell last season, where he was instrumental in the club's domestic double, Osimhen made his move to Galatasaray permanent last summer.
The transfer marked a new record as the most expensive signing in the history of the Turkish Süper Lig.
Kavukcu thanks Osimhen and teammates
In a recent interview with the German newspaper Bild, Kavukcu highlighted the commercial impact of the star trio.
He noted that Osimhen is a major asset for brand recognition and is one of the club's top jersey sellers.
"Leroy is among Galatasaray's top three jersey sellers, along with Osimhen and Icardi," Kavukcu stated.
The vice president also revealed ambitious plans for the club's expansion, including taking its merchandising division public and launching a branded café franchise. He directly linked these strategic moves to the influence of his star players.
"Our vision is to be one of the top 10 clubs in the world," Kavukcu explained. "We're taking our own merchandising company public, and we also have plans for our own café franchise chain.
“All of this is largely thanks to players like Leroy, Mauro Icardi, and Victor Osimhen, who have significantly boosted our popularity."
This season, Osimhen has continued to impress, tallying 19 goals and seven assists in 29 appearances across all competitions.
