As Pulse Sports reported, Galatasaray are on the verge of securing the transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli, with a verbal agreement already in place, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer, described by Romano as “here we go soon,” includes a structured payment plan: an immediate €40 million, followed by €35 million payable in one year, and an additional €5 million in performance-based add-ons tied to Osimhen’s goal-scoring exploits.

The agreement also features a 10% sell-on clause for any future profit and a clause prohibiting Osimhen’s transfer to another Italian club for the next two years.

Buruk has begun preparing his team for next season, having already won two of their preseason matches. In a recent presser, he confirmed the Osimhen signing was nearing its completion.

"Everything regarding Osimhen is going positively,” he said, per TRT Spor. “We're nearing completion. We want it to be completed as soon as possible.

A proud Okan Buruk of Galatasaray.

“The player's side was already positive, and the talks with Napoli are also very positive. We hope it will be concluded soon. Our entire transfer situation was about Osimhen.

“We have a significant budget. What we can use this budget for is crucial. We've been waiting for that, and once this transfer is complete, we'll have other thoughts."

They have presented their terms to the Brazil international but have yet to submit an offer to Manchester City. However, the English side are aware of Galatasaray's interest and Ederson's openness to the move. They have begun the process of securing a replacement, having started the process of reacquiring James Trafford.

"We are very clear about the goalkeeper issue; we will bring in a player. We have a very good goalkeeper in Gunay,” he said. “Jankat also performed very well in the friendly matches.

“We want to add another goalkeeper to our squad and address our shortcomings. There will be positions we are considering, but we will have to let go of players. We will be considering transfers, but right now, our priorities are Osimhen and the goalkeeper."
