Olajide Olayinka agrees to back up role for Jake Paul after Nate Diaz arrest
Following news of an arrest warrant, Jake Paul has lined up a blockbuster backup opponent for his next fight against Nate Diaz.
After Misfits Boxing 6 in New Orleans, Diaz became the center of controversy after he choked a Logan Paul impersonator to death during a street brawl.
Following the horrific events, local police have filed an arrest warrant for the former UFC superstar as a suspect of second-degree violence.
Olajide Olayinka, an English YouTuber, rapper, and boxer of Nigerian heritage who goes by the stage name KSI was inspired by the news of the arrest warrant to challenge Paul on August 5 if he faces no opposition.

Reacting to the news regarding Diaz, he tweeted: "Well, if that mean Jake won’t have an opponent in August... Then I’ll gladly come as the replacement after I KO Joe Fournier in May."
Paul, often known as "The Problem Child," accepted KSI's offer, insisting there is no rehydration clause and advising him to maintain good physical condition in case he is required.
Paul responded, "Great. I accept you as the backup opponent. Fight is at 185.

Online fight viewers appear to favor Paul vs. KSI over Paul vs. Diaz.
If Diaz is forced to withdraw, a fight between Paul and KSI, which has been discussed for some time, might finally happen in August.
Paul vs. KSI, though, could still take place because the Stockton outfielder wasn't too pleased with the deal.
Paul just suffered his first professional loss after falling to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.
After defeating Tony Ferguson, Diaz completed the remainder of his contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Meanwhile, KSI will have time to heal after fighting Joe Fournier on May 13 in order to potentially take on Paul later in the year.
