Model who accused Yamal's party organisers of demanding women with specific 'breast size' updates statement
Claudia Calvo, a Spanish model, has shed more light on the allegations she made about Lamine Yamal's birthday party. The model’s claim is one of the major points of controversy that emanated from Yamal's 18-year-old birthday party, and she took to Instagram to walk back some of the statements attributed to her.
The initial allegation
Extra revealed that Calvo, who won Miss Teenager Spain 2021 and Miss Teenager Europe 2022, claimed to have been approached by the organisers of Yamal's party, and they made specific requirements regarding body type and secrecy.
"They focused mainly on breast size or hair colour, whether they were blonde," she said. "Since I’ve been a nightclub waitress, I’ve met a few girls.
“I told them I was looking for these girls, and they said they were interested, but I mentioned that the organisers weren’t giving me any assurances about whether they should have any contact with any of the people who would be at the party.
"They were offering each girl $17,500 for 24 hours and an exclusive credit card to spend during the celebration."
Along with ADEE promising to take legal action after it was discovered that dwarf entertainers were employed for the party, Calvo’s claim has led to a huge controversy.
Hence, she took to Instagram, releasing the following statement: "I want to make it clear, officially, that I have only spoken about what I was personally informed of.”
“At no point have I spoken about or mentioned anyone in connection with these accusations. Everything remains alleged, as there is no conclusive evidence or tangible proof. I apologise if my statement has been misinterpreted."
