As the team left the stadium, a chant broke out, one that has been used to ridicule French players in the past and Africans in general.

Enzo Fernandez posts racist video online

Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez was filming the celebrations on Instagram Live, and the midfielder stopped the video moments after members of Argentina’s squad joined in the offensive chant.

The chant claims that France’s players are ‘all from Angola’ and makes a vile reference to a reported relationship between Kylian Mbappe and transgender model Ines Rau.

The video has since gone viral on social media, with fans and observers condemning the act.

It is unclear whether Messi was on the bus or involved in the chant as the Inter Miami captain doe not appear in the video.

The Argentine Football Federation has not yet issued a statement regarding the video.
