Barcelona's new coach, Hansi Flick, has showered praises on Spanish wonder kid, Lamine Yamal for his exceptional performance during the Euro 2024 tournament.
The 17-year-old winger made history by becoming the youngest player ever to appear in and score at a European Championship.

“He has done a really great job in the last year, he has improved a lot. What he did in the Euro is unbelievable,” Flick said during his official unveiling as Barcelona's new coach, per Reuters.
Despite Yamal's meteoric rise, Flick emphasised the importance of maintaining focus and continued development.
"But great players maintain their performance and now it is necessary for him to keep his feet on the ground," he added.
Flick's Vision for Barcelona
The former Bayern Munich manager outlined his ambitions for Barcelona, with a focus on attacking and entertaining football.
"What I want to see is that we are playing really good football, attacking football and that everyone can see that this team gives a lot for this club," Flick stated.
The German tactician, who boasts a successful coaching career including a historic sextuple with Bayern Munich, is eager to bring his winning mentality to Barcelona.
"You can only win with the biggest clubs, which is why I am here," he said confidently. "I am not saying that I will win every title like that but if we work hard we can achieve this."
Flick's appointment comes after Barcelona's trophyless campaign last season. The club hopes that his experience and tactical acumen will revitalise the team and restore its former glory.
