Alex Padilla: Lamine Yamal’s girlfriend returns from Instagram exile while on summer break with Euros star

Days after Pulse Sports reported that Alex Padilla deactivated her Instagram account after rumours first emerged linking her to Barcelona’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal, the student-turned-TikTok star has re-emerged on the platform.

 Just before Alex and Lamine jetted off to Kios, Greece, for their summer vacation, the Barcelona-based student created a new Instagram account, signalling her return to the social media scene.

Alex Padilla's reappearance on Instagram has been nothing short of sensational.

 After deactivating her previous account due to the intense scrutiny following her public relationship with Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona-based student created a new profile just days before their summer getaway. 

The move came after Alex gained over 1.5 million followers on TikTok after the pair seemingly confirmed their relationship following Spain’s 2-1 victory against England at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 14. 

Padilla’s new Instagram account is already on course to crack 400,000 followers within less than a week. 

Despite not publishing any posts yet, the account has garnered significant attention, with Lamine Yamal himself and Berta Gallardo, the girlfriend of Yamal’s Barcelona teammate Fermin Lopez, among her followers. 

Alex has been actively sharing snippets from her Greek vacation on her Instagram stories, keeping her fans updated on her baecation with the Spanish wonderkid.

The resurgence of Alex Padilla on Instagram also mirrors the exponential growth of Lamine Yamal’s social media presence. 

Pulse Sports earlier reported that since the start of Euro 2024, Lamine has seen a dramatic increase in his online followership.

His verified Instagram page now boasts over 18 million followers, surpassing his teammates Gavi, Pedri, and even Marc Andre Ter Stegen. 

The couple's summer break in Greece has only added to their allure, with fans and supporters eagerly following their every move.
