‘He has seen the game’ - Super Eagles star claims he has learnt a lot from Ex-Arsenal star

Nigerian international Akor Adams has spoken highly of the influence of former Arsenal star Alexis Sánchez since the Chilean forward joined Sevilla this past summer.

Sevilla had a busy transfer window, overhauling their squad with several new arrivals. Among them was Sánchez, who signed as a free agent after his contract with Olympique de Marseille expired.

The 35-year-old is widely regarded as one of the premier wingers of his generation, with a decorated career that includes stints at Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Inter Milan. 

So far this season, the veteran attacker has contributed two goals and one assist in eight appearances for Los Nervionenses.

Adams speaks about Arsenal legend

Adams, who has developed a strong bond with his new teammate, praised Sánchez's impact beyond his on-field statistics.

Speaking to Sporty TV ahead of Sevilla's derby against Real Betis, Adams shared his appreciation for the Chilean's presence.

"For us, it’s a pleasure to have a player of his calibre and to spend every day with him in the same locker room, more than 6-7 hours every day.

“We sit side by side, we talk a lot, we share experiences," Adams said. "He has seen the game, all of it. I’ve learnt a lot.
