Erling Haaland moved to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund last summer and his contract reportedly included a release clause to be triggered in the summer of 2024.
However, according to reports, that clause was voided after City boss Pep Guardiola signed a contract extension with the Etihad side.

Haaland's agent Rafaela Pimenta was asked about the existence of the release clause and she did little to dispell the rumours. "I have nothing to clarify," she told Mundo Deportivo.
"The mystery of this story is very cute because you don't know where it is, like a treasure chest. Anyway, as a lawyer, I can't reveal the details of contracts."
