Super Eagles of Nigeria star Frank Onyeka has risen to the top of the social media trends.

The 25-year-old Nigerian star has dropped a major bomb on social media that has sparked reactions.

Late on Sunday, August 28, Frank Onyeka announced that he was going to get married to his girlfriend Mmesoma Akaolisa.

He took to his official social media platforms to post a message about his relationship status.

In the post, Onyeka and his girlfriend Meso posed for pictures for a big announcement.

His girlfriend shows off a massive diamond ring on her finger, indicating the couple is about to take the next step.

Along with the photos was a message by Onyeka that said, "A life time of us my best friend, my meso ❤️. "#cheerstoforever🥂"

Onyeka's engagement did not go unnoticed on social media.

Several of Onyeka's Super Eagles stars and Brentford teammates were quick to send in their congratulations to the new couple.

In the comment section, Nottingham Forest star Taiwo Awoniyi who recently welcomed a child celebrated Onyeka with a statement that said, 'Let's go my guy.'

Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong added, "Congrats bro" while Onyeka's Brentford team-mate Ivan Toney wrote, 'Snr man. ❤️ Myyy boyyy'

Onyeka's Brentford have enjoyed an undefeated start to their Premier League campaign following a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur and 3-0 victory against Fulham.

In their latest outing, Brentford played out a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

Onyeka did not start the game but came in as a substitute for Mathias Jenson in the 71st minute.

Onyeka returns to action when Brentford takes on Newport County in an EFL Cup fixture scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
