Afrobeats songs miss out on EA FC 24 Soundtrack
This Wednesday, EA officially announced the list of songs that have been included in the FC 24 Soundtrack.
The list features a vast array of musical talents around the world with some big name music stars making the list including Grammy-Award-winning rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, international record producer and DJ, Skrillex, Colombian popstar Karol G, and British music legends, The Rolling Stones, amongst others.
However, a notable omission from FC 24’s official soundtrack is the absence of an Afrobeats song.
Since 2021, Nigerian music has been a constant feature on EA’s soundtracks with the likes of Fireboy, Burna Boy, Rema, Olamide, BadBoy Timz, Pheelz, BNXN, amongst a few others debuting on the playlist.
However, EA seems to have taken a different approach with FC 24, although, one Nigerian is included in the playlist.
