Carlos Alcaraz: Reactions as US Open star pays homage to Bellingham's iconic celebration

Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has reached out to Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham following an inspired display in the US Open. 

Alcaraz was obviously inspired by the England footballer after an excellent performance and win to reach the last four of the US Open. 

The Spaniard was in no mood for jokes in the quarterfinal after he routed Alexander Zverev clash. 

It was a ruthless performance from Alcaraz, the defending champion, who thrashed Zverev in straight sets. 

He defeated him with 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 to keep his dream of defending the title alive in the US. 

The match which lasted two hours and 30 minutes was dominated by the Spanish star en route to sealing a semifinal berth against Danil Medvedev on Friday. 

Alcaraz celebrated with a signature move that is now well-known in football after his win.

In typical fashion, the number one seed in the US Open emulated Real Madrid hero, Bellingham, and his iconic goal celebration.

Alcaraz took to his social media account to share the moment with the 20-year-old midfielder.

He posted the picture with a simple ‘hey’ Jude' and tagged Bellingham on X.com. 

Real Madrid’s Bellingham did not waste any time to acknowledge the mention and accolade. 

“Keep going mate,” the England international quoted Alcaraz’s post with his reply. 

Expectedly, the post has now generated reactions amongst Tennis and Football fans.

Both sets of fans have taken to the posts from both superstars to react. 

It seems they have noticed the bromance between the two and are in love with what they have seen.
