Benzema tells Real Madrid he wants Saudi move
Real Madrid striker Karin Benzema has reportedly told the club he wants to accept the offer from Saudi Professional League champions Al-Ittihad.
The ex-France international only recently led Los Blancos to a league and Champions League double, winning the Ballon d'Or for this effort.
However, the 35-year-old could be on his way out after an injury-plagued season, with a mammoth offer from Saudi on the table.
Benzema makes decision known
As Pulse Sports previously reported, the five-time Champions League winner has received a seismic offer with a number of perks from the Gulf.
According to Foot Mercato, the former Lyon striker is open to the move and has informed Real Madrid of his intent to accept the offer on the table.
His contract expires at the end of the current campaign, but he was set for a one-year extension.
Real Madrid will reportedly convince him to stay, as a possible exit comes as a shock.
Should a move materialise, the French-Algerian could be another Ballon d'Or winner playing in the SPL, with Ronaldo already at Al-Nassr and Messi currently being courted by Al-Hilal.
