Barcelona have reportedly emerged as one of the clubs keeping tabs on Gabriel Jesus's situation following Arsenal's signing of Viktor Gyokeres.

The Blaugrana have only one senior out-and-out striker, Robert Lewandowski, and are expected to be in the market for a centre-forward next season. Recent reports reveal that Gabriel Jesus is one of the players being considered.

According to Caught Offside, Barcelona, along with Inter and Newcastle, have kept themselves abreast of Jesus’s situation at Arsenal.

The 28-year-old joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022 and led an unlikely title charge. However, he soon began to suffer injuries. He has had multiple knee injuries during his time at Arsenal, and in January, he suffered the big one, an ACL tear, which rules him out until later in the year.

Arsenal have coped without him so far, and a few days ago, they confirmed the signing of a new striker, Gyokeres, which casts doubts over Jesus’s future at the club.

There have been talks of a return to Brazil for the former Palmeiras star, but reports claim he is still fancied by European clubs. Gabriel's contract expires in 2027, and Arsenal could be looking to ship him off before he becomes available for free.
