Barcelona 'angry' at Yamal after El Clasico

Barcelona are reportedly unhappy with Lamine Yamal's comments ahead of El Clásico, as they believe he injected the Los Blancos squad with extra motivation.

Real Madrid triumphed in the first El Clásico of the season, winning 2-1, with goals from Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham. Despite winning, Real Madrid players were the aggressors in a post-match fracas, with some of their players confronting Yamal for his pre-match comments. 

As Pulse Sports reported, Lamine Yamal was on a Twitch stream with popular Spanish internet personality Ibai Llanos, where he was attributed to have said Real Madrid “steal and complain.”

These comments did not go down well with Real Madrid's players, as expected, as they believed Yamal's statement was unsporting, with the likes of Dani Carvajal, Vinicius, and Thibaut Courtois challenging the teenager after the match. 

According to Dario Sport, the Barcelona hierarchy were also displeased with Yamal's comments and are believed to have expressed their discontent. 

Additionally, some corroborating reports claim Yamal was scheduled for another stream this week, but the club have impressed on him to cancel it.
