Algeria's Vladimir Petkovic is full of enthusiasm for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Nigeria.

On the other side, Algeria survived extra time to emerge victorious against DR Congo thanks to a dramatic 117th-minute goal from Adil Boulbina, setting up a heavyweight battle with Nigeria at the Stade de Marrakech this Saturday.

The upcoming fixture is poised to be one of the tournament's most compelling matches, featuring two teams that have been in exceptional form in Morocco. Both Nigeria and Algeria topped their respective groups and have demonstrated consistent quality throughout the competition.
