Deontay Wilder believes Anthony Joshua is afraid of him but will go visit so that they can make the fight.

In order to have a "man-to-man" conversation with fellow former world champion Anthony Joshua, heavyweight contender Deontay Wilder thinks he might have to travel to the UK.

There have been rumors of a year-end matchup between Joshua and Wilder in Saudi Arabia for the past few months.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom claims that the finance for the event has been thrown off due to some managerial changes in Saudi Arabia involving the executives in charge of sports.

Having not competed in a while, Wilder's most recent bout occurred in October 2022 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he stopped Robert Helenius in just one round.

Joshua has been much more active on his end with two fights already this year.

In August, he returned to action and defeated Robert Helenius, a late replacement, via knockout.

Although Anthony Joshua had hoped to have his third bout happen in December, it is more likely that he will get into the ring in early 2024.
