I’m not your girlfriend, I’m your WIFE — Georgina Rodriguez insists Cristiano Ronaldo has already found the ‘click’

In the latest issue of Vogue Arabia, Georgina Rodríguez returns to grace the cover of the iconic magazine, with a sensational twist.

The 31-year-old model and influencer was interviewed by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo himself.

The couple delved into their relationship, with Georgina directly addressing recent speculations and sharing insights into their life together.

Rodriguez’s interview comes amidst renewed public interest in their relationship status, sparked by a viral clip from their 2022 Netflix documentary, Soy Georgina. 

In the clip, Ronaldo, 40, explained that he hasn't married Rodríguez yet because he is waiting for the "click" that signifies the right moment. 

This statement led to widespread speculation about their commitment.

When Gio was asked by Ronaldo on the advantages and disadvantages of being labelled his wife, despite being a public figure in her own right, Rodríguez used the opportunity to respond to the wedding speculations.

“It has been difficult because we live in a very complicated world where everything can change very quickly. Thankfully, I am a person who always looks at the positive side of life," she told Ronaldo in the Vogue interview.

“Even though some people label me as ‘the girlfriend of’, I am very proud to be your wife, and of our family, and there is nothing negative about it – on the contrary, I have shown through my personality and my strength that I have my own light and path to follow. 

“I have been able to show who and how I am in my Netflix reality show, among many other individual projects in which the public has gotten to know me better. 

“Also, the brands I work with have trusted me for who I am. Although they knew me for being your wife, I have managed to open my path by showing myself too.”

Her words underscore her pride in their relationship and her individual identity, independent of public labels.

Rodríguez's rise to prominence is a testament to her resilience and ambition.

Born in Argentina and raised in Spain, she worked as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid when she met Ronaldo in 2016.

Georgina also told Vogue she worked as a sales assistant for the Inditex group, Kering and Prada.

 Their chance encounter blossomed into a relationship that has since captivated the public's attention.
