Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed the Nigerian player Ruben Amorim must sign to fix the club's goalscoring problems.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged his former club to make a move for Nigerian goal-machine Victor Osimhen before the close of the January transfer window.
Osimhen, 26, has been on fire since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last summer, scoring 16 goals in 20 games.
Ferdinand believes his experience and goal-scoring ability would be a huge boost to the team, particularly in helping young strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee develop their skills.

Ferdinand begs Amorim to sign Osimhen for Manchester United
The former United captain expressed his concerns about Hojlund's recent performances, stating,
"I have watched Hojlund closely the last two games… it just doesn't add up.
)
"I'd be going to get Osimhen now if we can do it from a financial standpoint. Get him on loan now!"
Ferdinand highlighted Osimhen's qualities, saying,
"He guarantees you someone who can score goals, has experience, and has done it at the top level."
"You look at [Joshua] Zirkzee who's similar to him. They both need someone to learn from, someone who knows what it takes to be a Manchester United No.9."
Ferdinand's recommendation comes as Amorim seeks to address the club's goalscoring issues, with neither Hojlund nor Zirkzee consistently delivering at even an acceptable level.
While securing Osimhen's services might be difficult in the January window, there's no doubt he will be a significant addition to the United team, elevating their game to an entirely new level.
