Victor Osimhen missed a crucial penalty as Napoli dropped points against Bologna and the world continues to react.

Osimhen's penalty miss continues to be a hot topic in Italy and the rest of the world.

With the game finely poised at 0-0, Napoli were awarded a penalty for hand ball which Osimhen took but failed to convert.

The Nigerian was removed moments later by coach Rudi Garcia, a substitution he did not take kindly to.

Osimhen has since apologised for his reaction to being substituted but it appears the Napoli social media handler has decided to take it upon himself to draw the wrath of Nigerians with his latest post.

Nigerians react to Osimhen video

The video shows Osimhen demanding a penalty before missing it, with a voiceover mocking the striker for the miss, and the caption self-irony.

this is a video you'd expect from a rival's fan account, even a rival club shouldn't be posting this. but the club he took out of trenches after 33 years had the guts to put this shii up and lock comments

Victor Osimhen didn't act smart when he refused to leave this club at the end of last season. Italy is a racist country and never changing. His last season's effort for this club was ignored. The whole Seria A failed to appreciate his talent. He should have left that country. https://t.co/LHmOlvlitr

We all saw this coming reason why we wanted him to leave last season. Typical Italian behavior https://t.co/r9sJZ8N7Ps
