The 31-year-old setup Curtis Jones for the first and second goals of the game before teeing up Trent Alexander-Arnold, who scored a brilliant free-kick for the game's third goal.

The three assists take his season tally to 10, reaching an impressive mark, and taking him level with Riyad Mahrez in the third spot for most assists in the Premier League this season.

Also, in reaching double figures in assists this season, along with his 19 goals, it means he is only the second player in the English top flight this season to reach double digits in dreams and assists, achieving it after Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, with more goals than the England international but fewer assists.

According to the report, Boehly now believes that the right thing to do in that scenario would have been to allow Tuchel to see out the remainder of the season and give any new manager enough time for a proper transition.
