Nigerian duo Iheanacho and Ndidi are set for a major drop in their wages at Leicester City come end of the current season.
This comes as the Foxes have began preparing for life in the English Championship with Premier League relegation looming large at the King Power.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Leicester have already suspended their end of year awards for the season with more drastic measures to be taken in event the club is relegated.
Ndid, Iheanacho face wage cuts
Leicester will continue to their quest to beat the drop with a difficult game against Champions League football-chasing Liverpool later tonight at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes are currently 19th on the table but only twi points away from safety and should they manage to win against their visitors later today, will move up to 17th on the log with just two games left to play.
Despite having their destiny in their won hands, the Foxes have began to adjust to possible life in England’s second tier league, the Championship.
As per Daily Mail, Leicester have cancelled their end of year awards and will slash wages at the club by 50%.
Nigerian duo, Iheanacho and Ndidi earn £80, 000 and £75, 000 in wages weekly respectively, per Spotrac, with a slash set to see them drop significantly.
26-year-old Iheanacho will miss the game against Liverpool while compatriot Ndidi will ne hoping for a return to the starting eleven since losing his place.
