What Mourinho said
The exchange of words began after Icardi called Mourinho's “the crying one,” a play on the Portuguese's epithet, “the special one.”
Icardi's comments came in reaction to Mourinho berating the officiating in the Turkish top flight, accusing them of pro-Galatasaray bias.
As Pulse Sports reported, Mourinho, in replying, the rival striker, said, “I refuse to comment on a GOAT’s words. He’s too big; I do not comment.”

Speaking further, Mourinho added, "I am sure that I am a special one, not the special one... With 25 years of career and with 26 titles and not with one match. There is not one match to define my career. My career is a career of 25 years.”
Icardi’s reply
Mourinho's “GOAT” comment was certainly tongue in cheek, and the Argentine picked up on it, ensuring to fire back at the former Chelsea boss.
Icardi, via his Instagram, shared a picture of a goat draped in Galatasaray apparel. The image of the animal was a depiction of himself as the GOAT, and he showed off his two Super Lig titles and Golden Boot.
In case the first picture was not explicit in its messaging, Icardi, on another slide, shared a graphically altered image of himself, with half his face that of a goat’s. He captioned it “Turkish GOAT.”
