Viktor Gyyoeres has reportedly made a significant financial sacrifice to help secure his transfer to Arsenal.
According to Record, the striker gave up €2 million from his proposed five-year contract with the Gunners. This amount was then added to Arsenal's transfer offer to Sporting.

Arsenal recently submitted a second bid for the Sporting forward, now totalling €65 million upfront for Sporting, with an additional €15 million in performance-related bonuses.

A portion of this increased fixed fee comes directly from Gyokeres's willingness to forgo part of his own salary package.
Despite his frustration with the situation, the striker is reportedly doing everything possible to fulfil his ambition of playing at the Emirates Stadium next season.
If an agreement is reached between the clubs, the Swedish international is expected to sign a contract with Arsenal until 2030.
