Fresh off a fourth-place finish for the Women’s Yashin Trophy, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie secured her second clean sheet in the Women's Super League.
The goalkeeper helped Brighton & Hove Albion to a 1-0 victory over Toni Payne’s Everton at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday.
Everton started the match on the front foot, with Yuka Momiki and Katja Snoeijs putting early pressure on the Brighton defence.
However, Nnadozie stood firm, demonstrating composure and sharp reflexes, one trait that got her a fourth-place finish in the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy.

Nnadozie has made an impressive start to her WSL career, having also kept a clean sheet on the opening day of the season in a goalless draw against Aston Villa.
Her standout moment came with a stunning diving save to deny Rosa Van Gool, a stop that highlighted why she was nominated for this year's Yashin Trophy.

Nnadozie's commanding performances have earned her significant recognition this year, locally and internationally.
She was named Best Goalkeeper at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and made history as the first African goalkeeper ever to be nominated for the Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d'Or awards.
