‘Bravo sis’ - Nigerian legend hails Nnadozie’s ranking in the 2025 Women's Yashin Trophy awards

She was instrumental in Nigeria's victory at the 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she was also named the tournament's Best Goalkeeper.
Her remarkable performances have gained global attention, with her Ballon d'Or recognition cementing her place among the elite goalkeepers in women's football.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) celebrated the Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper's historic achievement on social media.

The goalkeeper has had a blissful career, leading Paris FC to a memorable Coupe de France Feminine title, saving two penalties in the final against Paris Saint-Germain before securing her move to Brighton.
The 24-year-old has already made a strong impression in England, keeping a clean sheet and earning the Player of the Match award in her debut against Aston Villa.
