Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has lent his voice to the act of terror that occurred on Christmas Eve through midnight in several communities in Plateau, Nigeria.
Nigerians woke up to ghastly news on Christmas morning, with the People’s Gazette reporting that armed Fulani herdsmen attacked at least 12 communities across Barkin Ladi and Bokkos local government areas in Plateau State.

What Ahmed Musa said
Through Christmas and today, Boxing Day, Nigerians on social media have sent commiserating messages to the communities affected, while calling on the authorities to take action and cease what has been a trend of attacks on communities in that region.
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has joined in the condolences as he called on Nigerians to come together to banish hate and violence.
“I am standing against the violence in Plateau State,” he said on X.
It's heartbreaking to witness the recent violence in Plateau State. My thoughts are with those affected.
“We need to stand together against hate and violence. Let love and understanding prevail. Together, we can make a difference. Let us show love to one another.”
