FC 25 Soundtrack: Rema, Omah Lay, Shallipopi rep Afrobeats as official playlist REVEALED
EA Sports have once again thrilled fans with the official soundtrack reveal for FC 25.
The soccer video game which is slated for release on September 27, has seen EA showcase diverse and evolving musical talent on their platform.
The iconic publishers have continued their tradition by highlighting a vibrant selection of genres and emerging artists.
This year’s soundtrack prominently features the energetic rhythms of Afrobeats, marking a significant representation for the genre in EA's football game series.
EA FC 25’s soundtrack notably includes the return of Afrobeats superstar Rema, who first made his appearance on the VOLTA Football soundtrack of the now-defunct FIFA 21 series.
But the “OZEBA,” crooner is not the only superstar flying the Afrobeats flag in the playlist.
Shallipopi and Omah Lay debut on EA FC 25 Soundtrack
In addition to Rema, the FC 25 soundtrack introduces two more influential Afrobeats artists to the lineup.
As predicted by Pulse Sports, Benin’s very own Shallipopi makes his debut in EA Sports' playlist, following his notable collaboration with Rema on the track “BENIN BOYS” from Rema's 2024 album, “HEIS.”
Shallipopi's inclusion represents a fresh addition to the soundtrack, showcasing his unique style and expanding the game’s musical landscape.
Furthermore, Afrobeats megastar Omah Lay also makes his first appearance on an EA Sports soundtrack with his 2024 hit single “Moving.”
Known for his infectious beats and distinctive voice, Omah Lay's debut adds another layer of excitement to the game’s playlist.
Shallipopi and Omah Lay join the exclusive list of Nigerian music stars to have featured on EA’s playlist including Burna Boy, Fireboy, Pheelz, BNXN, Olamide, Bad Boy Timz, Seun Kuti as well as a few others.
