Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to back-to-back wins on the road for the first time this season with a huge win against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Warriors have struggled on the road and we’re faced with a five-game road swing last week.

They started off losing the first three but have now defeated the Houston Rockets and a strong Dallas side in consecutive games.

Steph Curry scored 20 points and provided the assist for Draymond Green's tiebreaking three-point play right at the end.

Luka Doncic had 30 points after missing five games with a left thigh strain, but even with a fine performance, he could not prevent the Mavericks from dropping below .500 as they try to stay out of the Western Conference play-in tournament.

The Mavericks were without All-Star guard Kyrie Irving because of right foot soreness and fell to the  Warriors, who clinched the tiebreaker between the two sides by winning the season series 2-1.

Jonathan Kuminga scored 22 points off the bench for Golden State, including a one-handed dunk in the fourth quarter that helped shift the momentum.

The Warriors know their job isn’t done as they battle Dallas and a host of other teams in the bottom half of the West playoff race.

Golden State (38-36) currently occupy the final guaranteed playoff spot at sixth in the West. Dallas (36-37) dropped to ninth place.
