Golden State's road troubles continued as they lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 134-126 on Wednesday night at the Crypto.com Arena

The Clippers went into this game on the back of three straight wins, which is their best run since the trade deadline.

How it happened

The Warriors have been a juggernaut at home team all season, but their troubles have been on the road when they play away from the Chase Center. The game against the Clippers was their first of a five-game road trip and an opportunity to record a first away win since January.

Both teams played hard to start the game, led by their superstars, Stephen Curry and Kawhi Leonard.

Curry had 12 in the first quarter, but Kawhi really had the Clippers going in those early exchanges. He had 10 points and 6 rebounds but most importantly, was getting his teammates involved and defending at a high level.

Curry carried his hot hand throughout the game and eventually ended the night with 50 points but the Warriors' poor road form continued.

They could not get defensive stops when it mattered most and a Clippers team led by Kawhi, who finished with 30 points and 8 rebounds, stumbled to their fourth straight win.
