After defeating Morocco to win the 10th WAFCON, Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Rasheedat Ajibade was named the Player of the Tournament, while Chiamaka Nnadozie was the best goalkeeper.

Nnadozie was announced among the nominees on the Ballon d'Or social media platforms.
She signed a four-year contract with Brighton & Hove Albion Women in the Women’s Super League in the transfer window.
This comes after Nnadozie won the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2024 for her standout performances.
