WAFCON: President Tinubu Honors Super Falcons with $100,000 and 3-bedroom
President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria celebrated the triumphant return of the Super Falcons of Nigeria's women.
The President and the First Lady led his administration to receive the team upon their arrival from Morocco.

The Super Falcons' victory in the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) marked a historic moment as it was their 10th title.
Before the final, the President and First Lady charged the team to victory and they responded coming back from two goals to defeat Morocco in the final.
In Abuja, he addressed then and stated was he will be rewarding the team with.
He conferring upon them the National Honour of the Order of Niger (OON).

Each player was granted $100,000 and a three-bedroom apartment in the Renewed Hope Estate in Karsana, Abuja.
Each member of the technical crew received $50,000 for their crucial role in the team's success.
This is not the first time the President would celebrate a national team.
After the Super Eagles lost in the AFCON final to Ivory Coast, President Tinubu rewarded the squad.
