African Queen is here - Super Falcons star Ashleigh Plumptre returns to Al-Ittihad training
Super Falcons of Nigeria defender Ashleigh Plumptre is back with her club, Al-Ittihad Ladies, in Saudi Arabia.
Plumptre returns to Saudi Arabia after her exploits with the Nigerian women's national team at the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Al-Ittihad took to social media to post a video and several pictures of her return to training.
Along with the video was a message that said, "The African Queen is here. "
Plumptre is the video waves at the camera after a spin and joins her teammates in the session.

Plumptre at WAFCON
At the tournament is Morocco, Plumptre played a pivotal role as the Super Falcons captured their 10th WAFCON title.
Plumptre was one of Nigeria's standout players at the tournament and was named in the WAFCON 2024 Team of the Group Stage.
After her exploits with the Super Falcons, Plumptre and her teammates were honored by President Bola Tinubu.
She was awarded the national honor of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
President Tinubu also rewarded Plumptre and each Super Falcons player with $100,000 and a three-bedroom apartment in Abuja's Renewed Hope Estate.
Plumptre played alongside compatriot Francisca Ordega with Al-Ittihad.
Ordega who received a massive cash gift from the Benue State Governor has not been spotted in training with Al-Ittihad.
