Yamal set to spend millions of dollars on luxurious mansion formerly owned by Piqué and Shakira
The 18-year-old, who has quickly become one of the world's most exciting young talents, was in action for Barcelona in their 2-1 loss to Real Madrid in the El Clásico.
However, he has decided to put the defeat behind him, as he is considering purchasing Piqué’s former house as his new home.
This move follows recent reports of Yamal purchasing new homes for his mother, father, and grandmother.
Yamal set to spend millions to buy a house
According to Spanish outlet El País, the property in question was originally listed for £12 million when Piqué and Shakira put it on the market three years ago following their separation.
The estate, built in 2012, spans 3,800 square feet and initially consisted of three separate houses.
With one of the smaller houses already sold, the remaining property is now valued at approximately £9.5 million.
The main residence boasts impressive amenities, including a tennis court, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and even a recording studio.
Sources claim Yamal is prepared to invest a significant sum in renovating the mansion to his personal taste.
The young star has had a stellar start to the season, contributing three goals and five assists in eight appearances for Barcelona.
