Now, before applying any gynaecological product, Fonseca dutifully forwards details to Vinícius' physiotherapist for clearance. “For example, if I go to the gynaecologist and need to use an ointment, I have to check with his physiotherapist, because it could trigger a doping test,” she revealed.

This precaution stems from the strict regulations in professional sport, where even trace substances could spell disaster for the 25-year-old Los Blancos star.

But the restrictions don't stop at the bedroom door. Fonseca painted a picture of a relationship that is as regimented as Vinícius's training regime. “Diet, going out to dinner, he doesn’t eat out. We eat at home,” she said, highlighting their homebound meals to maintain peak performance.

The couple adheres to a meticulous schedule, with Fonseca insisting: “I’m very happy in this relationship, which is why I make it a priority and work to make it function. It’s a demanding relationship, you have to have a schedule for everything and follow it perfectly.”
