Victor Osimhen: Chelsea to make fresh move for Super Eagles striker

Osimhen and Chelsea is a union that seems destined to happen eventually, despite failing to materialise this summer.

The striker has been Chelsea's top transfer target for the past 12 months, and combined with several hints and ex-Blues stars endorsing the move, it will surprise no one if he eventually joins Enzo Maresca's project at some point.

One thing is clear, Osimhen has played his last game for Napoli, and after completing his loan move to Galatasaray, the Nigerian is ready to start a new chapter.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea remain keen on signing the 25-year-old and may take advantage of the break clause in his loan move to Galatasaray, which allows him to move to a select number of clubs for a lower fee.

Chelsea are yet to sign a proven goalscorer and a player like Osimhen could take the project to a new level.

Meanwhile, Osimhen has reportedly parted ways with his agent Roberto Calenda, after a failed deadline-day move to Chelsea.
