Transfer FLOP Eden Hazard leaves Real Madrid, considers retirement

Real Madrid and former Chelsea man Eden Hazard have decided to part ways after the Belgian midfielder's four largely disappointing seasons at the club.

The Eden Hazard story at Real Madrid has finally come to an end after four generally fruitless years.

Hazard arrived from Chelsea in 2019 to much fanfare but delivered absolutely nothing, suffering from injuries and weight-gain issues throughout his time in Spain.

The Belgian had a contract until 2024 but both parties have decided it is best to part ways now.

According to The Athletic, Hazard is now considering retirement, willing to walk away from the game after recent troubled years but a decision has not been made on that front as of now.
