“Revisit this if we get one or two more signings, and I might change my answer.”
Under manager Ruben Amorim, United have already bolstered their squad with the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Reports suggest Amorim is keen to add a new striker to challenge Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, with Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko emerging as the top targets on a narrowed-down shortlist.
Last season’s 15th-place finish marked United’s lowest in Premier League history.
However, with recent squad reinforcements and no Champions League commitments, there is growing confidence that the team will deliver stronger performances in the upcoming season.
