Arsenal delivered a stunning 5-1 victory over Manchester City at the Emirate stadium, leaving one Chelsea fan grateful for the Gunners' impressive performance.

Mikel Arteta's side dominated the game, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime courtesy of Martin Odegaard's opening goal.

The match erupted in the second half, with Erling Haaland equalising with a brilliant header.

However, Arsenal quickly regained the lead, scoring just 38 seconds after the restart through a deflected strike.

Myles Lewis-Skelly then scored his first Premier League goal to make it 3-1, before Kai Havertz's extended Arsenal’s lead. Substitute Ethan Nwaneri sealed the victory with a stunning strike in stoppage time.

Meanwhile after the Arsenal’s victory, a Chelsea fan took to social media to express his appreciation for the Gunners victory over City.

Despite their impressive 5-1 win, Arsenal still trail Premier League leaders Liverpool by six points.
