Jennifer Echegini's early goal failed to propel Paris Saint-Germain to glory, as they were held to a draw by Christie Uchebe's Benfica, which effectively ended their UEFA Women's Champions League campaign without a single victory.

Echegini scored in the 5th minute of the clash, before Carole Costa restore parity for Benfica in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot. Anais Ebayilin found the back of the net in the 70th minute for PSG, but VAR cancelled her goal, as they match ended in a draw.

PSG had already been eliminated before the game, as they had only managed a point. They were playing for pride against a fellow eliminated side in Benfica. The draw meant that the French side went through the entire tournament without tasting victory.

While Echegini starred in the defeat, completing six of seven dribbles and winning 11 of 15 of her attempted duels, her compatriot, Uchebe, was an unused substitute.

Elsewhere, Barcelona beat Chiamaka Nnadozie's former club to top the league table. Lyonnes, Chelsea and Bayern completed the rest of the top four, guaranteeing a place in the next round.

The eight remaining teams, lying in 5th to 12th, will go into the playoffs: Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Wolfsburg, Paris FC, Atletico Madrid, OH Leuven.
