Super Falcons of Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy.
The nominees for the best female goalkeeper globally by the Ballon d'Or were announced on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie was named with nominees such as England’s Hannah Hampton, Germany’s Ann-Katrin Berger, Spain’s Cata Coll and the Netherlands’ Daphne van Domselaar.
Nnadozie who has risen to the the top of football in the European leagues is nominated for her achievemnets this season.
She made a huge impact in France’s Division 1 Féminine for Paris FC since 2020.
Nnadozie was announced among the nominees on the Ballon d'Or social media platforms.

She signed a four-year contract with Brighton & Hove Albion Women in the Women’s Super League in the transfer window.
This comes after Nnadozie won the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2024 for her standout performances.
She was the WAFCON Goalkeeper of the Tournament as the Super Falcons won their 10th title playing a pivotal role in a 3-2 comeback final victory over Morocco.
